CMHA Middlesex Board of Directors held its monthly meeting on January 15, 2018. Ten Board Directors, and four staff were in attendance for the meeting.
Meeting Highlights
- Christine Sansom, Director Clinical and Case Management Services presented to the Board
- This portfolio includes: Strathroy Site, Transitional Case Management, Clinical Services, Peer Support
- Programs focus on improved and timely community response
- The Board accepted and approved the Consent Agenda
- Finance – currently realizing a surplus due to funding for new initiatives i.e. Transitional Care Project
- CEO reported on Organizational Priorities: Financial Stability, Public Education, My Sisters’ Place, Housing and Info and Brief Support
- Donations have surpassed last years’ total
- My Sisters’ Place has been named a recipient for the Shoppers Drug Mart Love. You. Run For Women, held June 10 2018
- CMHA Ontario has launched Erase the Difference advocacy campaign, this is an exciting initiative to bring awareness to candidates in the upcoming provincial election
Board Committees
- Finance- no update
- Fund Development Committee – meeting with the CEO to discuss the vacancy in Fund Development
- Human Resources – requested close session
- Nominating Governance – reviewing committee membership, and future review of By-Laws
- Quality Assurance Risk Management – no update
