Who We Serve:
Family Support is for anyone – friend, family member, partner, spouse, co-worker, boss or neighbor – who is concerned about the mental health of another community member.
What We Do:
The Family Support program provides family members, caregivers and friends with tools to help in the recovery process of a loved one. Participants will learn about mental illness, coping strategies and community support for both themselves and the individual who is struggling with their mental health. Services include group education events, peer support, supportive drop in sessions, and 1:1 supportive counselling on an as needed basis.
How Referrals Are Handled
Anyone can call or email to request a phone or in person orientation with our Family Support Worker. Individuals must complete an orientation prior to being able to attend services offered.
