We offer approximately 18 shared homes with room for approximately 65 people in total. Homes are located across the city – near transportation and community amenities. Residents each have their own bedrooms and share common living spaces.
These accommodations are available to people who have difficulty finding and keeping housing on their own and who may prefer to have roommates so that they aren’t alone. Residents must have the skills to share living space with others without a staff member present.
While living with us, you are responsible for sharing in the up-keep of the house. Tenancies are regulated by the Occupancy Agreement and the Residential Tenancies Act. You will have a Transitional Case Manager available to help you when help is needed – but there are no full-time staff members at these locations. Because the transition to shared living can be difficult, it is helpful to have people supporting you with the change.
